Lyrio launches major workplace study

PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania, July 19th, 2006 – Lyrio, the latest entrant set to take advantage of the growing switch to IP solutions, today announced a major workplace study of communication device usage in American business.

The study, involving both quantitative and qualitative research methods, is the first of it’s kind to probe ‘actual’ end user behavior and understanding of existing communication devices. Sample questions include:
  • Which would you get rid of first, your cellphone or email?
  • Do you know how to use the call forward function on your office phone?
  • If you had 10 new work voicemails, approximately, on average, how many would you listen to?
Lyrio will be making a large proportion of their study public and using the results to drive client satisfaction initiatives and investments in product and application development.

Chief Marketing Officer Paul Sewards continues, “Let’s face it, too many manufacturers and resellers make many assumptions on how end users interact with their products, solutions and technology. If we’ve learned anything from the past 20 years of technology success and failures it’s that engineering innovation doesn’t necessarily automatically equal consumer endorsement and satisfaction.
